Professor John Clement Whitcomb Jr., Th.D., was born on June 22, 1924, in Washington, D.C., to John Clement and Salome Josephine Whitcomb. He was the only child in a military family, growing up in Tientsin, China (1927-1930), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas (1930-1933), Seattle, Washington (1933-1939), and Fort Benning, Georgia. He attended McCallie Military Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee (1940-1942), where he excelled scholastically. He was then accepted to Princeton University with a career goal of becoming an American Ambassador. During his freshman year, he met Dr. Donald Fullerton of Princeton Evangelical Fellowship, and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. This changed his life, resulting in the decision to be a missionary.
In 1942, John was drafted into the US Army and served in the 909th Field Artillery Battalion, 84th Infantry, which fought in the Battle of the Bulge at Marche, Belgium. He returned to Princeton University and graduated with honors (1948). He then attended Grace Theological Seminary from 1948-1951 in Winona Lake, Indiana (M.Div.), with plans to return to China as a missionary. When the Lord closed the doors to China, he opened another door when the President of Grace Seminary, Dr. Alva J. McClain, offered him a faculty position.
Two years later, he met his first wife, Edisene Hanson, at a Bible conference, and they married in 1953. They had 4 children—David, Donald (Don), Constance (Connie) and Robert (Bob). Edisene developed an autoimmune liver disease and died in 1970 at the age of forty. About the same time, Norma Pritchett’s husband, who was a doctoral student at Grace Seminary, suddenly died of a heart attack. Norma had two sons, Daniel (Dan) and Timothy (Tim), who were the ages of Dr. Whitcomb’s children. John and Norma later married, uniting the families in January 1971.
John was a professor of the Old Testament at Grace Seminary for nearly forty years and served as the director of postgraduate studies. He and Norma founded Whitcomb Ministries in 1990. From 2016 until his death, he held the title of President Emeritus.
As an author, he published over twenty books on the Bible and science; commentaries on multiple books of the Bible, eschatology, and other topics; and numerous technical articles. His M.Div. defense of the historical accuracy of the book of Daniel (Darius the Mede, 1959) and his Th.D. defense of a literal six-day creation and world-wide flood (The Genesis Flood, published with
Dr. Henry Morris, 1961) remain the definitive works on these subjects. The Genesis Flood became a classic and is the foundation of the modern Creationist movement. He also developed a series of chronological Bible history charts that revolutionized Bible study around the world. They remain widely used today.
Throughout his entire life, Professor Whitcomb was heavily involved in foreign missions, including serving as Chairman of the Board for both the Spanish World Gospel Mission and Grace Brethren Missions. He made many international trips over the years to support these efforts.
Although internationally acclaimed, Professor Whitcomb remained a humble, gentle, approachable, and caring man. He loved humor. He had a quick, subtle wit and would roar with laughter at a good joke. He was also brilliant. But, as one Christian leader remarked, “Although he was intellectually high above everybody else, he had a way of taking complex truths and making them applicable and exciting to people.”
He approached the Scriptures with an awe, reverence, and deep understanding that was also impactful to his students. Professor Whitcomb’s life-guiding Bible verse was 2 Timothy 2:2— “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” Thousands of his trainees are now teaching others throughout the world.
Professor Whitcomb never wanted positions of power. He, like a good soldier, wanted to please his commanders, and later, the great men of faith that preceded him. And he received true words of great praise from all of them. But there was one more accolade for which John Whitcomb was longing. The one from his Heavenly Father, who on February 5, 2020, surely said, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
Professor Whitcomb is survived by his wife Norma and children Dan & Pam Pritchett, David and Chris Whitcomb, Tim Pritchett, Don and Kim Whitcomb, Connie and Mark Rosendahl, and Bob Whitcomb. Grandchildren include Jessica, Laura, David, John, Jill, Jamie, Jocelyn, Janessa, Kian, Weston, Kelsey, Morgan, Josiah, Nathanael, Anna, Daniel, and Sarah and twelve great-grandchildren.

The Rapture - We Shall Be Changed!!!
It is only in Jesus Messiah (the Savior of the world) that is found the PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS that we so desperately need to enter into Almighty God’s HOLY and PERFECT Heaven!

When we receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior by faith we receive the forgiveness and pardon of our transgressions, the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God's Savior, and ETERNAL LIFE (Isa. 1:18, John 3:16-17, 36, 1 Cor. 1:30, Col. 1:13-14)! Jesus came into the world to SAVE and REDEEM fallen man so that they may FOREVER live in PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS with Almighty God the Father (Luke 9:56, John 10:10, Rom. 5:12-21, 1 Tim. 1:15, Rev. 21-22:1-5). My dear friends, I do not know anything more wonderful than that! And we who know Him (John 1:10, Acts 4:12) will be caught up in the air to meet Him and we all shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye and FOREVER will we be with the Savior!

The One I Thought I Knew
Many dear, professing “Christians” today, who are dear and sincere in their Christian traditions and personal beliefs, believe in a DIFFERENT Christ (i.e., they have “their own” Jesus). Therefore they - either knowingly or unknowingly - have rejected the CHRIST of the Holy Scriptures. I personally know how this works for I once had “my own” Jesus.For years I was a practicing Roman Catholic. From the womb, I was taught and raised in the traditions of the Catholic faith (ideology), and in true sincerity, I went to church every week, prayed every night, and practiced the Golden rule, but I lived contrary to the moral teachings given by God in His Word. It wasn’t until just before my twenty-first birthday that someone shared with me from God’s Word the True Gospel (good news) and the True Christ of the Holy Scriptures. At that time it was very hard for me to humble myself and go against all that I thought, was taught and believed for years about Jesus. At first, I didn’t want to accept the truth and have to change my way of seeing and doing things. Consequently, I ran from the Lord for three years. I had always known that Almighty God’s Word was true and the only source of ultimate truth (John 17:17). I knew in my heart also that I had to humble myself and let Almighty 9God and His Word be my authority and guide.
May I ask you this personal question? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, as the Holy Scriptures teach? True Christianity is not a religious/ cultural philosophy or a practice of “Christian” values and traditions. It is a personal, living relationship with the Creator of heaven and earth in spirit and truth, as revealed in God’s Word (John 4:24). The very One who created all, died on the Cross to pay the price for your sins and mine (John 1:1-14; Philip. 2:4-13). My friend, I can’t think of anything more wonderful than that to tell anyone! May it be your real desire to know the One Who so loved you and sent his Son to die for you, so that you may be with Him forever in joy and peace (John 3:16-17; Gal. 1:4). Won't you place your trust in Him today? You will never be the same!

What Kind of Fool Would We Be to Go Without Almighty God's RIGHTEOUS Presence? A Song of Testimony and Praise!
Dear friends, what kind of FOOL would we be if we were to go forth in this evil life without our ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Savior's PRESENCE and PERFECT will for our journey (Ex. 33:14-15, Psalm 23, Prov. 3:5-6, John 10:27-30)? This song of personal testimony challenges us to hear our Lamb and Shepherd's voice and not to leave Him out of any decision that we make! Dear friends, NEVER deviate nor leave His PERFECT WILL and PLAN for your life! Hear His still small voice and the Spirit's direction and you will ALWAYS BE SAFE in the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS arms and risen nail-pierced hands of your precious Jesus (Matt. 4:18-20, John 10:27-30, Phil. 2:12-13, Rev. 1:17-18)!

O Our Fallen Humanity!!! But Jesus Saves Sinners and Gives Us an ETERNAL FUTURE!
The unchecked unbridled passions of man are an appetite NEVER satisfied and unfulfilled
by the gratification of the flesh (Rom. 7, Rom. 8:5, Gal. 5:17). Like an addict, the unbridled passions of sexually driven men and women create a tsunami of psychological and social discord and physiological disorders that spillover from the individual into our societies and communities. The number one addiction in America today is not cocaine, it is not alcohol, it is not marijuana, it is not heroin, it is not Oxycontin, etc. The number
one American addition is this unbridled beast of Eros-erotic love, i.e.,
sexual addiction (James 1:14-15). This Eros beast is currently reigning supreme and dominant in America in every facet of life, culture, and society. Paul stated very clearly in Romans chapter 7 the complete depravity of fallen man apart from the redemptive intervention by Almighty God (Romans 7). Oh, our humanity!, should be the cry of ALL of Adam's fallen race; for it is the doom and fate of the Hindenburg (John 3:16-17, 36, Rom. 7:24, Rev. 20:11-15). 
ONLY in Jesus Christ is there TRUE and TOTAL deliverance and liberation from the horrific ravishings of the flesh and its control, power, and tyranny (John 8:32,36, Rom. 7:24-25, 8:1-14). In light of our post-Judeo/Christian America, do
you know the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS LOVE of Almighty God, which is found ONLY in His Son
Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17)? God so LOVED YOU that he sent His Son to pay the price for your transgressions against the RIGHTEOUS standards of Almighty God (John 3:16-17, Rom. 3:23; 10:4; 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 4:10).

There is Hope for the Daughters of American Moloch
Today, we live in a highly demonic and mentky ravished society in which there is at least one individual that we might personally know who has had at least one abortion. When The Wicked Rule!
When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice, but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. — Proverbs 29:2
And there’s a whole lot of mourning going on. Here’s a partial list of some recent observations.
In 2020, we reelected President Trump in an historic landslide, but in a handful of key states, through several coordinated methods (including foot soldier election fraud and computerized voting machine manipulation), the election was stolen in the dead of election night. Joe Biden was not elected President. It was a criminal coup that put him there.
There was NO “attack” on the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021. There was NO “insurrection.” There WAS an FBI-orchestrated set-up by a small number of men to create an illusion and deception to feed the lying narratives of the communist Democrats and many so-called "Republicans," giving them a bogus excuse to make examples and political prisoners out of a number of innocent American citizens, "and for other purposes" (a phrase they love to stick into legislation).
In their deep hatred of President Trump and some of the good he was doing for our nation, the communists destroyed the rule of law of our Constitutional Republic. It’s breathtaking, the insane, baseless lawfare they’re waging against the President, his family, and so many who worked with him or helped him. It’s something routinely seen in despotic countries around the world, not in the United States of America.
COVID-19 is a lab-created bioweapon that’s very dangerous to the already sick and elderly. The COVID shots, falsely purported to be “vaccines,” are also dangerous bioweapons that are killing people. The planned global response to the release of COVID was for rulers worldwide to launch a fear-based, aggressive assault on freedom, resulting in the destruction of economies and countless lives and businesses in the Western world and beyond. It was never about “health” or “safety.” It was always about control of the people, coalescing global power, and especially tearing down the liberty, sovereignty, and wealth of the United States—and allowing the easier implementation of their scheme to steal the 2020 election, preventing President Trump’s rightful second term.
Through their human militants, the ever-more aggressive demonic spirits of Sodom and Gomorrah have waged a detestable recruitment campaign against our children and young people. This has resulted in an explosion in the number of kids who are diving headlong into the hell of perverse sexual rebellion. The danger to the mind, body, and spirit of people who embrace this kind of wicked behavior cannot be overstated. It’s truly an infernal destroyer.
It’s also irksome to constantly hear about the “incompetence” of the Biden regime (or whoever’s actually running it). It’s not incompetence. It’s malice, and it’s purposeful. The Biden regime’s lawless facilitating of the massive illegal alien invasion of our southern border is on purpose. The destruction of our economy is on purpose. The crushing of the value of the dollar is on purpose. The food and supply shortages are on purpose. The skyrocketing inflation is on purpose. The outrageously high gas prices are on purpose, because Biden and his handlers want to drive us out of our vehicles and limit our freedom of movement.
The communist Democrats, their fellow-traveling buddies in the “Republican” party, and the Corporate Communists are positioned to disarm the American people, destroy the United States as founded, and replace it with a global-order communist “Utopia” of poverty and tyranny.
There are some in the United States who still believe we can vote our way out of this evil madness. I’m not one who thinks that. Yes, there may be some local and state elections in which the rational among us can prevail, but the communists have solidified their election fraud methods in key states, so they won’t be denied their federal outcomes.
The list of badness goes on indefinitely, and there’s much more I could mention. My purpose here is not to argue the truth of these observations, which are plain to those who can see and discern the times in which we live (or at least who are able to do some effective Internet research apart from communist “news” sources). My purpose is to say that there is no hope in the world outside of Jesus Christ, the living Son of God, Who is the only way of salvation, peace, and life. What we’re dealing with is a spiritual reality that most people in the world are currently unable to see—the forces of heaven and hell at war for the souls of all mankind.
Satan and his demonic minions despise God and His creation, and they’re determined to kill, steal, and destroy as many of us as possible before Satan’s time runs out. That’s why we’re watching what seems to be such senseless destruction of freedom, lives, economies, nations, food and water supplies—anything that’s being destroyed or diminished. The people orchestrating the destruction are on the side of the devil. Literally. They belong to him, and so they lust to do his deadly will.
It doesn’t get any better from here on out. The Bible tells us so. The darkest, most terrible days of the world are on the way. If you’ve never learned about the one true God and what He did to save you from eternal death—your certain destination without Him—then you must hear that you are God’s creation, and He loves you. But each of us has sinned, breaking God’s perfect law, so we’re marked for eternal death and separation from God, as mandated by His law. On our own, none of us can save ourselves from that eternal death, but God loved us greatly and made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. He sent His Son Jesus, Who is God, to take on the form of a man, live a perfect, sinless life here on earth, and then sacrifice His life in our place. Jesus willingly chose to take the punishment each of us deserves in order to bridge the impossible divide between God and man.
The wonderful news is that all you have to do to get this eternal life for yourself is to believe in Jesus. Pray to God the Father through Jesus. Seek Him while He can still be found, and when you do, He will reveal Himself to you and begin to open your understanding to what He’s given us in the Bible, which is His powerful, living message to us. Study the Bible, and gain true knowledge by the Holy Spirit that He gives us. He will save you through Jesus and change you. He will give you peace in your mind and heart and everything you need. And when this lost and dying world is done, you will live with Him forever!

Bible Verses Relating to the Rapture Teaching and the Second Coming of Christ
"The word "Rapture" is found in the Bible in light of what the scoffers of today would rather say. The word "rapture" comes from Paul's "caught up" remark mentioned in 1 Thess. 1:17. The words "caught up" are translated from the inspired Greek word "harpazo", which means "to carry off," "snatch up," or "grasp hastily." The translation from harpazo to "rapture" involved two steps: first, harpazo became the Latin word raptus; second, raptus became the English word "rapture."
This is an in depth personal study I have done to challenge myself and to see what the Holy Scriptures truly teach on the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Messiah. The Rapture doctrine is ABSOLUTELY sound as sure as Messiah's Second Coming! Wherever it is inferred to or pertaining to the Church that we shall be changed, glorified, made perfect or complete, or Christ's manifestation, appearing or revealing, or our joy, hope and expectation we can be sure when taken in the right context that the Lord is commnicating with His betrothed Bride that He is personally coming for us and to bring us to Himself (John 14:3)! Jesus taught it, Paul, James, Peter, Jude preached it so we should receive it, believe it, look for it and run with it until our death or until He comes!

America 2022 - Are America's Best Days Yet Ahead? A Biblical Perspective
Tragically, it will be this absolute and complete abandonment of social morals that will be America's final demise and my dear friends. we are already there! This nation - due to her near-total abandonment of moral absolutes and the soon coming Rapture of the body of Christ - will finally implode on herself, thus opening the door to the entrance of the Four Horsemen and the dreaded Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-19).
