When insanity reigns, we have a God-hating, anti-American president who
assures us that the global weather (yes, it's just weather), when
somehow "miraculously" affected by my SUV, is the greatest threat we
face, and millions of dupes believe him.
When insanity reigns, we have a president who insists that the Muslim
enemies who believe they exist only to bring about our destruction (and
have repeatedly told us so) not only pose no threat to us, but should be
allowed to freely flood into our once-sovereign nation, being "seeded"
in strategic locations all across the land.
When insanity reigns, we have a lawless president who insists that Islam
is not Islam, and that Islam has nothing to do with Islamic murder and
conquest.
When insanity reigns, a shrill, lying woman who should be a felon in
prison, is allowed to not only run for president, but through massive
election fraud, could possibly "win" the presidency.
When insanity reigns, the powers-that-be insist on defining reality as
whatever any given sexual deviant says it is. So, if a man insists he
is a "woman," then the force of bad law will be used to subvert the
natural rights of those who correctly point out that this can never be
so.
When insanity reigns, the state steals the power to destroy the meaning
of marriage by declaring a grotesque mockery of marriage between people
of the same sex to be "marriage."
When insanity reigns, those of us who recognize God's authority as the
Creator of all that is, who understand that there is concrete,
unchanging right and wrong, good and evil, truth and lies – we become
the "insane," the "lunatics." Those of us who warn against the dangers
of tyranny in the hands of utterly corrupt, power-mad leaders who
despise our nation's blessed Christian foundation and heritage and
unparalleled freedoms – we are the "enemies of the state." We are the
ones who must be silenced.
Looking around at the insanity, the deep deception and sin that is
embraced all around us, and knowing that we cannot stop it, is like
trying to run and yell in a nightmare, where your legs feel heavy and
weak and your voice only comes out as a whispery breath. Everywhere we
turn, those in power are aggressively pushing the big lie – that good is
evil and evil is good – which is being swallowed whole by a growing
number of ignorant, apathetic and Godless people among us.
The nightmarish landscape we see has a solid explanation, but it's not
found in this world. Without the Word of God, as revealed to us in the
Bible, none of what we see happening will ever make any sense, because
we are watching a war that has its roots in the spirit realm. It's an
ancient battle between the spiritual forces of God and of His sworn
enemy Satan.
This battle plays out in the physical world, with human beings making
the moves. There are only two camps in this battle, and every person
belongs to one camp or the other. We are either servants of the God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, or else we are the servants of Satan. Period.
There is no neutral camp, no "gray" area.
The servants of Satan are those who reject the true knowledge, wisdom,
discernment and laws of God, which are the only foundation for morality
and real freedom. They are those about whom Paul, through the
inspiration of God Himself, wrote in Romans 1:
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
convenient [meaning: proper, fitting or suitable]
;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things
are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them
that do them.
And as Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2:
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume
with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of
his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be
saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
I'm not writing anything I haven't written "a hundred times" before, and
if you are of right mind, I'm not telling you anything you don't
already know. I'm writing this to encourage you, because those of us
who belong to God, through the atoning, willing sacrifice of His Son
Jesus Christ, must always remind ourselves that what we see now is
temporary. Evil insanity will not reign much longer. The evil of this
present age will soon vanish at the Lord's return.
I don't have to tell you how discouraging, infuriating and terrifying it
is to watch the greatest, freest nation in the history of the world,
second only to Israel in its unparalleled, blessed uniqueness, be
systematically dismantled by the Hell-inspired servants of Satan who are
now in power in the United States.
A horribly hard pill to swallow is that what we see as entirely
avoidable, as anathema to all that is right, good and true, and as
deadly poison to liberty and freedom, is somehow necessary to bring
about God's will on earth.
Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying here. In no way am I
suggesting that we give up resisting what is evil – by no means! But if
we are to have any peace amidst the mind-boggling wickedness being
perpetrated on our nation by a deranged, evil "president" and his
fellow-traveling tools of perdition in places of power and authority all
across our land, we must remember that this war is already won, that
Satan currently stands as a defeated foe.
Although he is defeated, Satan still has great power. He is still
currently running the world system. He is still the prince of the power
of the air, and we must not underestimate him. He is full of wrath and
fury, knowing his time is short (Revelation 12:12). But, if you are
born again through Christ, then you know that greater is He that is in
us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). We belong to the Prince
of Peace, and it is He that has redeemed us with His blood from the
power of sin and death.
As these days grow ever darker, as insanity continues to reign and
tyranny grows like an aggressive cancer (and it will), let us keep our
eyes on the prize, our hope eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord. Let's not
be discouraged if we stumble, but keep reaching up for Him, because He
cares for us more than we can possibly fathom, and He will give us the
strength to stand in the evil days that are upon us and yet to come.
If you don't currently belong to the Lord, please grab a Bible and read
it with an honest mind and heart, searching for what God is trying to
tell you. If you do, then you will find Him.
Friends, please pray for me, for us, and for God's unmerited mercy on
our wayward nation. Chin up! This is temporary, and our redemption is
closer every minute!
