"Thou
therefore ENDURE hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man
that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he
may PLEASE him who hath chosen him to be a soldier" (2 Tim. 2:3-4).
"Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed
away; behold, all things are become NEW. And all things ARE OF God, who
hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the
ministry of reconciliation' (2 Cor. 5:17, 18).
"If
ye then be risen with Christ, SEEK those things which are above, where
Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. SET your affection on things
above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid
with Christ in God. When Christ, who IS OUR LIFE, shall appear, then
shall ye also appear with him in glory" (Col. 3:1-4).
"Beloved,
now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall
be: but WE KNOW that, when he shall appear, we shall BE like him; for we
shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2).
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, DO ALL to the glory of God" (1 Cor. 10:31).
"In EVERY THING give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1 Thess. 5:18).
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)
"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For
whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the
image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover
whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them
he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who
is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is
risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh
intercession for us. Who
shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or
distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For
I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom. 8:28-39).
"I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matt.28:20b).
The Kingdom of God is at hand!
