Only in Christ is there great freedom and deliverance from the bondage of Satan, our human depravity, and the outworking of sin and its terrible consequences (John 8:32, 36; Rom. 7:24-25; Heb. 2:14-16). Humanity has never and will never be able to govern itself, not in this fallen world. Tyranny and the unbridled passions of man will always win the day. Six thousand years of human history has testified to that fact. Our Founding Fathers realized that truth, and that only a moral and God-fearing people would ever have a chance of outworking the kind of human government that could check the depraved appetites of fallen humanity and preserve the basic liberties and freedoms endowed by their Creator. We as a nation today have discarded a sense of healthy morals and ethical guidelines, and are sadly reaping the tyrannical social consequences. Oppressive tyranny is not too far off here in

Ask yourself this very simple question. How can an imperfect humanity who lives in an imperfect world bring about an absolutely perfect “Utopian” society? (See Romans 7:24.) The answer is a no-brainer yet extremely hard for humanity to digest: it never can. The only hope and deliverance for humanity today is found in its wonderful Creator and Redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior today? Only He can deliver you from the oppressive tyranny of Satan and the World System. He is the only deliverer from our bondage to Sin and all its awful consequences (Romans 6:23). He has come to set at liberty the sons of men (Rom. 4:17,18, 6:14,17-18, 22; 7: 24-25; 8:2, 21; Gal. 5:1; Eph. 4:8). May it be your sincere desire to put your trust in Him today!
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

INCLUSIVE SALVATION
Who are those who are included in salvation? All men who believe and obey what the apostle Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost are saved. It does not make any difference what denominational name is written on the church building where you worship, if you obey the gospel preached by Peter, then, you are saved, you are a member of the Lord's church, you are part of the church of Christ, you a member of the body of Christ, you are a Christian.
What did Peter preach?
1. Peter preached that Jesus was a miracle worker. (Acts 2:22)
2. Peter preached that Jesus was resurrected from the dead by God the Father.(Acts 2:24-35)
3. Peter preached that Jesus was both Lord and Christ.(Acts 2:36)
When the three thousand believe Peter, they asked "What shall we do?"(Acts 2:37)
4. Peter told them to repent and be baptized in order to have their sins forgiven.(Acts 2:38)
This is the same message Jesus preached. (Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved....)
THE TERMS FOR PARDON ARE: Faith-John 3:16, Repentance-Acts 2:38, Confession-Romans 10:9-10, Baptism (immersion in water) 1 Peter 3:21
All who meet the terms for pardon are saved regardless of the denominational name on the church building.

Steve, Glad to be your personal billboard...
What you stated is true to some sense as an ex-Catholic I got saved and then had to leave for doctrinal reasons but how can one still walk in the apostate teachings if they truly have received Christ? (John 17:17)
Sound doctrine is the battle for the day be sure that you are in it or you are waging war against Almighty God and His Word.

I do not believe you have to be baptised in order to be saved. Belief in Jesus/God + NOTHING. For it is by GRACE we are saved... Baptism as spoken in the first 4 books of the NT was given to the Jews. Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles.
Hey Sue,
True you do not need to, just faith in Christ's work alone (Eph. 2:8-9,), we never stated that you had to.
But in obedience to Christ's command we need to be baptized to show what Jesus did for us. Matt 28, Rom. 6, 1 Cor.15:2-4.
